In the article, this pericope is subject to literary analysis, the exegesis of the text is carried out and the kerygmatic message is indicated. Jesus, dying surrounded by two ill-doers, is the Messiah and the king of Israel. Crucified and derided, he did not save himself, but redeems others by his death.
